hmmm this time again, same thoughts as when I hit my 5k goals. how to structure my runs during the week 😁

for those with a little more running experience does this sound like a sensible plan...i generaly manage 3 runs a week.

run 1 speed/interval run

run 2 10k slow run

Friday Pub!😂😂

weekend run 5k

Any advice and input would be greatly appreciated. also I'm doing plank and sqwats on non run days and next week I'm going to the gym (1st time EVA) with my running buddy.

What do you want to achieve from your plan?

hi Juju initially build up stamina for 10k runs (only done 1) and shave some time off my 5k for the park runs.

You don’t have to run a 5 or a 10. A short 3k and an 8k is good too. You are a new runner so take care. Have fun with your running and enjoy it. Slow running builds legs bear in mind 💪👍🏃‍♂️

I just joined a gym for the first time ever as well 🙂

I find it easlier to have a target. I normally book myself a race a couple of months or so ahead, then work out a plan from there. Set your goal first, it doesn't have to be a race, but for me its good to have a fixed date (and distance ) to work towards.

Other than that have fun with it. Only you know yourself, be prepared to make mistakes and learn from it.
