I had a look at my favourite running fuel and they are bang In The middle of recommended carbs for a long run. For a HM I take two 100g bags of dried mango from Sainsbury. I only like the Sainsbury’s ones because they are soft and easy to digest. I have tried others and they just weren’t as nice. I found out today each bag contains 73g of carbs. So I will be going out to get some for next week, just have to now shake off this cold that has hit my sinus’s last night and I think I will be good to go slowly round. Also I have become quite partial to a hot chocolate after a long run. Sometimes the mind just knows what a body needs 😀
Lovely mango!!!! Mango was a chief ingredient of that anti-inflamm smoothie I made!
I have got some of that lovely, soft dried fruit. My niece got it me from the airport in Thailand. It's way lush. I've got loads of it! Only tried the mango so far but it's so nice. Not sticky or messy either!
