I headed off at my usual late time last night, dodging ice patches on the footpaths and admiring the sky full of stars, with the intention to do at least 7k and see how I felt after that. My last 2 runs I have felt very heavy at about 3k, but that lifts by the 4th and last night I reached the 7k and felt good to go on. 8k came up quicker than I thought and caught me by surprise. I felt I could go further, but decided it best not to push too hard and run the risk of injury or slipping over on ice.
10k, I'm coming for you!
