Me with bling looking suitably knackered and relieved after my first 10k event, in Doncaster. I can't say how grateful I am to the C25k programme and all the people in both these Communities who so freely and generously offer their tips, advice and encouragement. I never in a million years thought I'd run to the end of our road, so Thank You All!

Thanks, Graham - what a great day to have your first 10k on! You're right to be looking forward to it, it's a lot of fun and absolutely nothing to be nervous about. Best of luck for it!
Well done, it’s such an achievement. These forums are fantastic too, I think many of us owe our continued running to the encouragement and support we get here. I know I do.
Thank you. I couldn't agree more. There are posts on here and in C25k which have really helped to change my way of thinking and made me to 'get over myself'. It would have been a lot longer journey without them.
You're right, the people on these forums are so supportive and full of great advice. We all support each other. Having said that, the achievement is all yours.
I know! It's mad int it! One minute we're couch potatoes and the next ...... Well done!!!!! There were other C25kers in the same race! Some pics hereabouts so do have a look. You might bump into each other at future events and can shout cooooeee!
Thank you so much! Yes, I saw your photo of the marvellous Mike1942 and Rita - there's also a couple of ace photos of them as they approach the finish line hand in hand here, if you haven't already seen them:
