We are already At the end of the new quest how Has it been? Please feel free to download your certificate. A new quest will start on Wednesday.

Hi there and welcome to the new Quest in its new home. I hope you haven't felt too lost over the last few weeks. It is back to normality now. The only difference is that the quest will end on the 31st October and a new one will start on th 1st November. This is mainly for the admins as it makes our scheduling a lot simpler, so I hope that doesn't disrupt your structure too much. Other than that it is business as usual πŸ˜€.

What the quest is:-

The quest takes one month . You can join any time within those weeks.

The main aim of the quest is to help you find a focus or goal that you would like to achieve by the end of the Quest period.

I ask that you will be a graduate to join the quest. The main reason I ask this is that while you are doing the program your plan is very structured so I wouldn't want the quest to interfere with that.

Most popular goals are:-

To run three times a week

To slowly increase distance

To train for a specific race

To add In Stretch and strength exercises

As you can see they are personal to yourself and it's totally your own choice.

Every week I will pin a new post where all the members of the quest can talk about how things are going.

So if you wanted to join all you have to do is put

I would like to join the quest, or count me in and then I would like to. ..............

Your name will then be added to the top post and every week your name will be in the quest until the end.

At the end there will be a certified cate you can download to keep.

Wishing you a happy healthy week

Well, October goal of getting back to 10K βœ”οΈ - in fact I have ticked that box three times, so feeling pleased.

I would like to join the November quest too and my new goals are:

1. To continue running a 10k each weekend

2. Try and bring down my 5k times a little.

3. Run a local 10k on 26th November and earn myself some bling!πŸ™‚

Hard to believe we are already at the end. I have continued my goal towards 10k (not quite there but 3k closer) but was not able to meet my goal of 3 runs every week due to life and illness putting up a few roadblocks . Looking forward to the next Quest with some revamped goals.....

I was able to check off the 10k in training at least. Have an actual 10k race this coming Saturday. Hopefully that goes well. November goal will be 14k. That should be around the 17th if all goes to plan.

I would like to join please :

My goals are :

1) continue running 3 times a week.

2) try and run 6.5k atleast once.

3) Run my first 5K race ever on 26th November.

Yes please I would like to join the November quest. I have finally got into a great plan in my efforts to get to 10k - and guess what it’s ju-ju- s! After trying virtually every 5k to 10k app going (yes I am an app addict ), I have just completed week 1 of this so my quest for November is to finally graduate and reach that magical 10k. As I am in Spain for most of November I am really luck that my runs are all along the Med coastline and mostly in glorious early morning sunshine, which really helps so desperate to graduate before I have to get back to cold winter runs in Sussex,

I am quite pleased with myself over all. I had to change my original quest after needing to see a physio for my niggly knee. The new aim was to follow the exercises he had given me and get back to some running.

I have done that! My knees are feeling stronger, the pain has gone and I continue with the exercises several times a day. I am back to running every other day currently, but only shorter runs and building slowly. Im also back to my yoga πŸ‘πŸΌ

Im ready for the next quest please πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜€

I still have two more days of the Quest and I shall need them, as I haven't ruled out getting a swim in, nor a 7k+ run.

Yoga's been a mess so looking to tweak my goals on that one.

Running: it has been a funny old month so I am pleased with my 6+ runs and that I did achieve my goal of spending some time at peak heart rate. It's quite fun to go hard for just a little bit (although I doubt it is wise in my state of health to do much more) In particular I had two fabulous dawn cliff top runs. That's what it is all about!

I did achieve my goals this Quest, of my HM and some running tourism. However, I'm going to have to be quick to get my mileage (km-age doesn't work!) in for this month as I still have 6 and a bit to do! Planning a brief trot today and then another run tomorrow so that should cover it nicely.

I also achieved Cake with GoogleMe , an added bonus :)

My 9k run will be on Sunday morning, so have Thursday or Friday to do my 5k...
