Well I did my first 10k run this morning I have been building up the "k's" slowly and today I did it
I'm doing the Great North Run next year for the same charity that I started my running journey for so "onward and upward as they say" having a training programme is definitely helping I missed the constructiveness of my C25k app but kept going
I have a varied playlist (I don't go for beats per minute) and you don't want to know what's in it for sure lets just say when I got my wireless headphones I was checking if they worked and hubby upstairs was not impressed to listen to Mama Cass instead of Led Zeppelin - the wonders of Spotify and Apple combined Ha Ha

10km, what an achievement. I'm still surprised that I can run that far after graduating a few months ago. Definitely onwards and upwards... but do tell us more about your playlist, I need to gather some more tunes as I have a rather low boredom threshold. π
I have a real mixture from Wham, Madonna,The Seekers and Cyndi Lauper. Billy Joel Uptown Girl and The Longest Time are among my favourites, Tina Turner and Michael Jackson are there too I joined Spotify and have 132 songs in my running list so I don't get repeats on a run
