I thought I’d better check in as I’ve been on the IC for the last month, overdoing the Incredible Hulk impression while moving house and lifting furniture finished off the acute glute strain and added a damaged QL to the mix, couple that with having to have surgery for a non related issue that meant three weeks with no exercise I have been mostly laid up.
I did a 7.5k run/walk Monday to test things out and felt pretty good and did a 1:10 10k today so I think my body is remembering what to do, just feeling a lot more tired than before.
I hope everyone is well.

Nice. Well done on the 10K. I did 10K for the first time last Sunday in 1:15:44. I’m entering a 10K race on the 18th of November. I’d love to get it done in 1:10.
Congratulation on your new home. We moved house 3 years ago and were still unpacking boxes for 2 years.😋
This is a pit stop I’m afraid Damien. I’ll be moving again when my son goes to Uni next year. I was quite brutal about throwing stuff away so travelling much lighter.
You’ll find you’ll get caught up on the day and run your socks off, bet you do sub 1:10 comfortably
