Came home from a week in Yorkshire to find the Great South Run entry packs waiting for our family group of runners. It's getting very close. Training is going reasonably well - managed 13.75k with a few walking breaks running along the Monsal Trail whilst up North, plus a slow effort at Sheffield Hallam parkrun. Will attempt 14-15k for my long run this week, am doing the RNLI 10k in Southsea on Sunday, then it's probably time to go into the taper. Phew, it will be good to come out the other side of this.

Exciting! Those are great distances you're doing so you will be fine at the GSR. I hope the RNLI 10k goes well

You've done brilliantly Coddfish. Good luck and enjoy the two races 🙂
Sounds like your training has gone well and should set you up nicely. Enjoy and good luck with your 10k and gsr.
