Almost did it again...Was running for 20 min when I thought "hey, I was supposed to stop at 18 for a walk break, wasn't I?". Checked it and sure enough I had left it set two weeks forward!! (Can hear my mum yelling at me as a kid "you'd lose your head if it wasn't screwed on!!" ) So I switched to walk mode and then did the last two 18 stints. With the walking bits it came to 9.54km at a nice slow 6.27 pace. My 150 playlist helps keep me slowed down. Getting closer...
Have to also say I keep thinking of the advice OldFloss gave around having a light touch on the pavement. Each time I could start to feel it in my shins I would pull back and try to roll my foot more softly rather than stomp it and somehow it works! Thank you Floss!
Was so hot yesterday and is going up to 31 degrees today so Im glad I ran early.
