Moving on ...

I finished c25k and only continuing running for health benefits as I 'didn't have the bug' and said I would only ever run 5k and was happy with that. Since then my runs have been gradually creeping up and am now running 6.5k easily. So here I am thinking of starting the bridge to 10k on Monday. I was told I would but didn't believe it.

I once stated that if I ever ran 10K - I would have it tattooed on my forehead I would be so absolutely astounded with myself!

Unfortunately, they have loooong memories around here....

Good luck and enjoy it. It's a great distance and you can enter races and get lots of fab bling 😏🎖🎖🎖

Just remember the golden rule. Don't increase your total weekly distance by more than 10%.

Well done LemonieJ :) Its weird isn't it- you think that you don't want to increase but actually can't help yourself.

Fabulous job. I ran a few 5's, then started 2x 5 and 1 longer run - 6, 7, 8 and then 10. You are on the way :)

Ha! Yep. I'm not sure how this happens. Perhaps there are subliminal messages in the C25K podcasts?

Enjoy!
