Today was my 5k run before the long one on Friday night. It was remarkable for being unremarkable! However we get on and whatever run we attempt we by nature move forward. How then can there be a failed run? Each individual step is forward. Putting on my running gear as the rain came down only invigorated me more because I was and I am as we all are, moving forward. Health, fitness, mindfulness, escapism or whatever reason we lace up and go out, running moves us forward. From past to present we come back always having achieved something. While each run may not always be good, there's good in every run!

That's pretty philosophical but I couldn't agree more! I didn't run this morning because I've been feeling under the weather and decided to go back to bed for a bit longer, something I hardly ever can do. I'll probably go this evening though as it's starting to cool down a bit now and isn't humid at all.

You're right and that's why when going through c25k we were always told any run is never a failure no matter how slow or if cut short.
Great post GTFC and there is always good in every run. 😊😊
