Hi all, I've been having a bit of right foot arch pain, which I believe comes under the bracket of plantar fascitis. It's not unbearable but can definitely notice it throughout the day when walking and in the first few minutes of a run (then it calms down). It's not improving - would a roller help? Never used one but know some swear by them. Any advice appreciated 😊

Roll a golf ball or a small bottle of frozen water under your foot. Feels amazing!
As suggested by Ip, rolling a golf ball or frozen water bottle (or similar) beneath your foot should assist in providing relief, whilst also feeling rather invigorating. Don't neglect your other foot, though.
In addition to rolling and stretching, performing calf raises (body weight will suffice initially) and towel scrunches (for the feet), will help to improve resistance of muscles, tendons and ligaments to fatigue, while also conditioning them, so that they're better placed to handle the load placed through them with each foot step.
Great advice, thanks all. Will put a water bottle in the freezer tonight (and google towel scrunches!)
