Hi everyone
I recently signed up for the Bournemouth Marathon Festival 10k, I achieved 9k in 1hr 6m a couple of weeks ago so I feel confident to have a go. Forums have helped me through pregnancy, motherhood and running a 5k so I'm posting to introduce myself ๐๐ป
A year ago today I did the race for life 5k having followed c25k, it was such an achievement for a fitnessphobe like me. Problem was my diet was awful beforehand and getting into running meant I thought I had an excuse eat more junk. Fast forward to October I got blue lighted to A&E and told I would not be eating any more fat until my diseased gallbladder could be removed. ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฑ
I deserved that.
I am now minus a gallbladder and 3 stone down with a gym habit of 3 times per week. I don't recognise the person in the mirror nor the lifestyle choices she makes but I love it! We got a puppy last year and I occasionally take him running (rottie x shepherd, big boy!) at stupid o clock in the morning so have been trying bigger distances to tire him out before I go to work.
Looking forward to sharing and hearing of others successes ๐ฅ๐
