Did my first day of my new plan to get to run a 10 k in September. Was a bit of a challenge but rewarding. I did further in less time that before. An improvement already.

I'm on week 5 on the Sami Murphy bridge to 10k plan and it's amazing how "easy" 5k now seems! I keep having to discover ever longer routes! That said, I haven't been brave enough to sign up for any "races" yet, but I have managed 9k so far..... I feel a bit intimidated by being surrounded by lots of other runners. So well done you for setting that goal!

I thought by paying for a race it would motivate me to carry on with the plan. It's early days though. After 5 weeks I cannot believe how well you are doing. Well done and Good luck.
