Goodness me! I thought after managing 11 miles last weekend, my 10k today would feel comparatively easy! Decided to run my favourite trails, managing to miss the rain. Without the semi frozen ground firming up the mud as it did last week, it was so muddy and slippy underfoot! Staying upright was really quite a challenge in parts but I loved it just the same๐. Across fields and up a small hill ๐ฎ before eventually running down through woodland and on to what used to be the old railway line (now a Bridleway). I ran up to the old station, now part of somebody's beautiful home with the old platforms and engine shed still there as part of the garden! Turning at Platform 1(!) I returned down the track, before leaving the bridleway for smaller meandering trails for a while. Eventually heading back towards home, I ran up and over the old railway cutting, rabbit holes everywhere and a lovely view across the surrounding fields with the bridleway below. The reward of course is always running down the other side with just a couple of kilometres to go! I certainly feel as though I have had a good workout but more than this... how lucky are we, to be runners? ๐ Hope everyone else has enjoyed their runs this weekend.๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ

Beautiful run x
That sounds absolutely lovely. It's great when a run turns into a bit of sightseeing as well
Well done! Be careful with the ankles on the hard ruts..๐
That sounds gorgeous Sandra and your love of running shines through the post. Go you ๐๐๐
that sounds like fun Sandra!
That sounds way more muddy than my run today. I'm just so used to flat city canals that any mud at all freaks me out! Sounds like you really relished it
