I worked from home today which means I get loads done but also means that by mid afternoon I'd hardly moved. So at 4pm I shut the laptop and layered up to face the cold. I ran 6.5k, loving (just about) every minute. The photo was taken halfway up the steepest hill and what a great excuse to pause for a moment.
I really was only half living before running. There was a real risk I was going to slide into a sofa-bound middle age gradually getting fatter and more depressed. Thank goodness I found c25k and you lot to inspire me, thank you xx

Just beautiful! i think c25k has helped a lot of us here. I've been feeling bit fed up and sure the fact that i have a cold and cough and haven't run all week doesn't help at all!
Emotional's good! It's important stuff. When I started running my cousin, who's a seasoned marathon runner, said it's life changing - and he's right. I'm not sure I'll ever be a seasoned marathon runner (previous injuries) but my life has changed so much since May - even tho it looks fairy similar to outsiders. Enjoy the new you.
What a stunning photo! And I absolutely get what you're saying. Running really is a life changer and we are so lucky we found it. Thank you for your beautiful post.
Pure brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such a fab photo too. Its lovely to see posts like this cause too often we get caught up in all the other stuff involved running and kinda forget what its all about. I can really relate to your post as I'm sure can many others. Happy running
Such fabulous sunsets at the moment. Sad to think so many miss them who don't have to. Really good for the soul. Running really does add something to life doesn't it?
Great post.... sums it all up and I feel the same way about what a difference running can make to your life - peace of mind, energy, strength. Wonderful sky - thanks for the inspiration.
Thought I'd just pop on here to see the posts, and found your stunning photo and great words. Well done you! Thank you for posting! 😀😀🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻Happy running to you Biscuit!
