Yesterday, on this site I committed to do a virtual run this morning with Hidden , we were both aiming to put each of our gremlins in the box and fasten tight the lids!
Ruth did a superb job earlier, ensuring a gremlin free wood. I then decided I'd check out my local canal path for her, and can confirm, no gremlins about!
I have run once in past 10 days due to niggly knees. But I have rested, iced, completed knee strengthening exercises daily, and I'm back! The IC gremlin that kept telling me I could not do it anymore has been given notice......not on my watch mate!
So a steady, slow 3.5k completed. To be honest the first half k was touch and go, few short walks etc. But then I found my form and relaxed, covered a gentle further 3k whilst listening carefully to my knees. And they were fineπππΌ
So IC gremlin away with you!
Now about to ice the knee again and will take good care of them from now on! This girl can run ππΌββοΈππΌββοΈππΌββοΈππΌββοΈππΌββοΈππΌββοΈ
what a great day to be out. I bet your knees are grateful for a bit of moving about and hopefully they'll allow you to slowly up the running a little more over the coming weeks! Just need to keep that box tightly shut, maybe a few bricks on the lid will help
