Ha ha! We told ya! It's a belter int it. It sucks you in a bit as you think it's a bit easy. Then you find out it's not

Keep running them! They are really good at mixing things up and getting you shifting into another gear

Have fun!

I don't get it!! The walking warm-up music is at 120 BPM - which is the cadence at which I walk ( actually it is the same cadence as Military "quick March" -- BUT it then works up to only 165 BPM for the hardest part of the run. Now for me 165 BPM is a painfully slow running cadence. This was why I had to abandon Laura and her music during C25K - because of the very low cadence of her music.

I think the warm-up walk is at 150BPM.

I find 165BPM quite challenging. On my final km yesterday I did 5:20 which is only a couple of seconds off my best km time. I'm not sure I could keep up that speed for more than 5 minutes at the moment.

No - the warmup is only around 120 BPM - definitely walking pace :)

Personally, I think the problem lies with Laura !! She advocated "landing on the heel of the foot" during C25K - which does tend towards low cadence/overstriding when running - and hence heel striking!! Once you get your cadence up to around 180, it is almost not possible to heel strike. Thus most of her music has been of low cadence - even this "stamina" podcast.

The warm up walk is around 120, the first 5 mins of running are at 150. Some people have a naturally high cadence (those with short legs lol sorry Bazza) some of us giraffes have a low one...when I first started running I counted steps for one minute and barely reached 120! Now I probably have a natural cadence of around 155, so I still find these podcasts a bit of a stretch. People seem to fall into two camps, those who find it fast, and those who,uh, don't!

So, if they work for you use them and if they dont - guess what?

Blooming well done SWT, I've knocked 14 mins of my 5K time with Stamina, still nowhere near your time

I can't help being born with "Duck's Disease" !!!! :)

You've got this lol?????? :-o

Duck virus enteritis is an acute, contagious, highly fatal disease of waterfowl caused by a herpes virus. This disease is most likely to affect mature ducks, but is also seen in young ducks. Affected birds show sluggishness, ruffled feathers, greenish-yellow diarrhea that is sometime blood-stained.

Poor Bazza, hope you feel better soon!

I'm a big fan of that podcast. It took me several attempts to get used to it but now I use it regularly

Try them Baz. I said they seem easy but they aren't. The cadences across the podcasts vary and you get a good workout at whatever level you'require at

I use all three of the c25k+ podcasts and find that even now when I know I am running faster than the required bpm it still gives a great workout, I just start off with the cadence and then if I feel up to it I just increase my own pace to suit how I feel.
