Well as the title says “Onwards and upwards” to 10K for me then after C25K, I hope I can do this.
Onwards and upwards: Well as the title says... - Bridge to 10K
Onwards and upwards

Of course you can! You did C25k didn't you. I used Sami Murphy podcasts to get me there. It's a blast! It's downloadable from here. There will be a link to it on the right in blue text. If not, search for Sami Murphy Bridge to 10k and it should show up. I still run these sessions. The music is specially selected for inspirational lyrics so that when the going gets tough the music will help you
I loved the journey from 5 to 10k, via 6, the 7 and so on, chewing up the kilometers over the weeks and months til finally you reach the promised land that is 10 k.
Have fun!

if you did C25k you can do anything Shortfatslug!!
Couldn't agree more. I used Sami Murphy too but I didn't try to increase my time/distance until I had got used to the routine of running for at least 30 minutes regularly. I thought the first couple of podcasts were going a bit backwards because it was back to the shorter run/walk routine but it did give a good foundation to build on. I didn't manage 5k in week 9 of the C25K programme and I didn't get to 10k with Sami Murphy either but I did get to running non stop for 30 minutes with C25K and for an hour with Sami Murphy. The music with Sami Murphy is much better - no mention of Julie in any of the songs!!
I went for a run last night, 40 minutes and a 5 minute warm up/down walk. Happy days, I will try to do an extra 5 minutes each week from now on and see how I get on with it.
Go for it, you most certainly can and will!
