We can understand it is an extremely difficult situation. We are with you.
The best way out to deal with this is to get in touch with a few more patients of same age group and who have completed their treatment and are fine. The person who can help you out here is your Oncologist. Most oncologists would very much have a database of their own patients. He can easily suggest a few who have completed treatment and maybe can help her meet them. Seeing those who have done their treatments and are now well will give a tremendous boost and give her strength and courage to undergo treatment.
Of course, we all are here to help her and support her. I suggest that you guide her to join this forum herself and share her feelings here. We can help her get out of that.
Where does ur frnd stay ñ from where is she planning treatment? Some hospitals have BC support grp. They help a lot. I can totally understand her feelings. I m also a patient ñ fighting.
