I had a bilateral mastectomy,in process of reconstruction. I have expanders in rite now,no chemo or radiation....stage 1 node negative but estrogen receptor positive.very small tumor...dont have to take tamoxifen but can if i want too. I'm undecided,i dont know if i should or not....any suggestions?

I think the best is to look at renowned cancer websites and try to see if you can't put your details on some form to see what the suggestions are in your case. From some printed material I received before I started my treatment, I found out that in my particular case, I would be protected to cc 8% more if I had radiotherapy than if I didn't. I decided to do what my oncologist suggested as these surveys can't take into account every single aspect of you as you're different from an'y other person from many points of view not only by the type of cancer you had.
