Tamoxifen and eyebags???

I started taking Tamoxifen 20mg daily as of January 11,2017. Anybody noticed about their eyes? My eyebags are so big and so swollen. Dont know if this common when on Tamoxifen. Any advice would be appreciated.

Iv been on tamoxifen since may 2016 and I haven't had that problem.The only thing iv had is hot flushes but they have settled down now xx

No caffeine even before diagnosis. I will wait for a while and will check with my oncologist. Thanks for your input. Appreciate it.

Hi, I have been on Tomoxifen since July 2014. I have been prone to eyebags for as long as I can remember. This hasnt got worse since starting on Tomoxifen. Mine improve when I cut down on caffine so that might be worth a try. X

hi,I haven't had tamoxifen but when I was on my 5th of 8 rounds of fec-t chemo and I lost my eyelashes I had the same problem,I went to Drs cos I thought I had an eye infection.Have you lost your eyelashes? It may be that,It goes down gradually,I was also horrified,I felt I looked like Theresa May!Other people don't seem to notice though,it will get better.xxx

That is good to know. I just hope that the pill is not causing it. Thank you for sharing me your experince with Tamoxifen.

I took tamoxifen for 10 years with no side effects of bags under my eyes, maybe it's just making you tired causing them

My oncologist specify that i need to exercise while on Tamoxifen because of the weight gain side effects of it. Swollen eyebags makes me look so tired and old...

Hi I have been on it since 2013 I too have bags under my eyes and seem to be gaining weight around my tummy area this is getting me down

I too am on tamoxifen and have awful eye bags recently - nothing helps, cukes, green tea on my eyes, lots of water, it’s horrible, visually.
