So I had a scan yesterday morning, I should be 7 weeks 3 days give or take a day however the embryo measured at 5 weeks 6 days. The doctor said not to worry as there was a little heartbeat fluttering away so I tried to use that for piece of mind. I also had a pelvic exam and thrn yesterday afternoon I started with some pink spotting, it's fluctuated in amount however it's only there when I wipe and appears to be turning brown now so I'm hope it is just cervix irritation.
I then had another scan this morning and measured the same however they have grown the tiniest amount in length. Heart beat still present, which has confused them I think so I'm booked back in for a week's time to be scanned again
Has anyone else measure so far behind even so early? As I conceived using gonal f and a trigger shot there's no way my dates can be out so my jelly bean is just small.

Dates by periods aren't always accurate we thought I was 2 weeks further on till my dateing scan put me at ten and 3 so went back 2 weeks later dead on should have been 12 and 3 but was measuring at dead on 13. Early measurements aren't always accurate
Only problem is I had fertility treatment so I know exactly when i ovulated unfortunately. If the dates the little embryo is measringnit was correct I would have found out I was pregnant when i ovulated.
What I'm saying is measurements by scan isn't an exact science. They can change quickly. You'll find measurements are more accurate to gestation after 12 weeks and baby wouldn't have grown that much in 24 hours especially at that gestation age. As long as they are seeing at heartbeat at the moment then things look positive. Being a week and a half out on measurement this early doesn't necessarily mean you'll be the same time frame out in 2 months time.
