Brown discharge

Hi, I'm 8 weeks pregnant and have just had a tiny amount of discharge with a tiny amount of what I'm assuming is old blood. From things I've read I'm not too worried especially as I'm still feeling sick. We see the midwife for the first time on Thursday so was going to mention it....guess I just wanted to check all ok until we see her

Hi There,

These things can happen in early pregnancy. As long as you were not having unmanageable pain, or the bleeding was excessive (soaking 2 pads in 1 hour), then it sounds like nothing to worry about. It's probably worth mentioning to your midwife when you see her, so she can check you over. Good luck.

Best Wishes

Katherine

Thank you, like you, they said unless I get really bad pain, everything appeared ok
