omega 3

Hi, I’d like to know if anyone has enough information or personal experience regarding taking omega-3 during pregnancy. Some healthcare professionals recommend it, while others don’t, and I’ve come across a lot of conflicting information in my research.

For example, some sources say it’s absolutely essential for the baby’s brain development, while others argue that studies haven’t shown clear cognitive benefits in children whose mothers took it. I’ve also read concerns about supplements containing pollutants.

With all this contradictory information, I honestly don’t know what’s best. I’ve asked different doctors—some recommend it, while others say it’s not necessary and they wouldn’t prescribe it.

Could anyone share their personal experiences, whether you took it or not during pregnancy? I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!
