I got off the pill in August, had period 32 days later and now nothing since (I'm on cycle day 60 now). I went to see a gynaecologist on day 22 and she said I didn't ovulate yet so I assumed I wasn't ovulating since getting off the pill. However I wonder now whether I could have ovulated really late in my cycle? I had some bleeding 6 days ago (quite bright colour and small amount) and I hope that maybe it was implantation or ovulation bleeding? Took pt 2 days ago and it was negative.
I'd really appreciate any help or advice!

The contraceptive effect of the pill will have worn off a couple of days after stopping it. It can sometimes take a while for a regular cycle to kick back in. If it has been less than 3 weeks since you last had sex, it may be that you have tested too early. You can also use a home ovulation testing kit, if you are not sure if you are ovulating. The best thing to do would be to have sex 2-3 times a week, start taking folic acid, eat well, and relax. Wait a week, and if you still haven't had a period repeat the pregnancy test. Good luck.
