Should I be worried?

I'm 8 months postpartum, I wasn't able to breastfeed, so have been fertile for a long time, I had a period in Nov, and Dec, then Nothing till March, according to the app, I ovulated twice that month, beginning and during my period...? shortly after my period ended, I had intercourse with my partner, unprotected, but took the emergency contraceptive pill to be safe, which caused a period, as soon as that period started, I went back on the pill, According to my app I was ovulating during that period as well, I went off the pill about a week later, and then had another period.

My next period is due tomorrow, Last night I started feeling nauseous and super hungry! I didn't sleep because I was overthinking all night, I've also noticed veins on my breasts but I'm not sure if that's from my pregnancy.

I took a test today, as advised by the doctor, and it came back negative, but I feel like I won't be satisfied till I see my period arrive... Which could be a long time, I don't even know how to work out how far along I'd be, seeing as I had 3 periods in the space of a month, but only had sex twice, one of which I was supposedly ovulating, but I was on the pill.

I'm totally freaking out! Could use some advice!!

You need to do a repeat pregnancy test 3 weeks after taking the emergency pill, as you may have just had a bleed (not a period) after that pill. Depending on which pill you are on, if it’s the combined pill you should take it for 3 weeks and have a 7 day break. If it’s progesterone only you shouldn’t have a break at all. It may be best to go and have a chat with a nurse at a local contraceptive clinic as everything is so out-of-sync. They will be able to talk through dates and put your mind at ease.
