Hey guys! Im having a yeast infection, how do I treat it myself without consulting a doctor? I heard a plain youghrt will do and what else?, my vagina is too itchy nd it makes me uncomfortable plz help.

Hi there

I would recommend you buy a vaginal Clotimazole pessary and 2 % cream over the counter in the pharmacy (Canestan In the UK). Or there is an oral tablet with cream also available to treat. Taking either of these should do the trick.

Clotrimazole is the 1st common thing which every one tells. I had the problem for 2 months(severe itchiness, swelling, tears, discharge) and it was so bad that having sex with my husband was very tricky and painful and I used clotrimazole external applicator but dint stop my issue then I used candid v6 vaginal inserts( like my doctor advised) along with clotrimazole external applicator which reduced my itcheness and in a weeks of time it totally stopped all my vaginal issues . Now Im free from yeast infection and so. I hope this post is helpful . Thanku
