Never ignore bleeding. I've bled alot in my 3 pregnancies and it always turned out to be nothing but you need to go. Ring the hospital and ask to speak to maternity triage. Explain the situation they are basically the people who see what's wrong and get hospital docto4s to check you over and admit you if needed so you avoid A&E. Hope this helps. P.s. wear a pad and take any that have blood on with you wrapped up or in a bag cos sometimes they like to see how much for themselves.

Better being safe though. Plus, when it comes to bleeding they'd always prefer to see you. They'll probably want to do a speculum and check where the bleeding is coming from. I've been to hospital.alot over all my pregnancies and sometimes you do feel like you're wasting their time but it'll be the time you don't go that it could be something wrong. Never worth taking the risk of leaving it. Just think after you've had the baby you'll never see them until you have another lol! If it helps I kept going alot when I had blood pressure and signs of preeclampsia the doctors wouldn't believe me when I said I had constant headaches and blurred vision they would keep me in hospital for a week then send me home and if be back in the week after because I was falling over the stairs and stuff cos I couldn't see it was that bad. They wouldn't listen until one day I went to the maternity clinic version of triage and the ladies knew me well by then and they looked at me and said something isn't right. My daughter wasn't moving the same and I felt like I wanted jump off a bridge the pain was that bad so they told the consultant they wanted to do bloods kept me in overnight turned out my liver function test came back with bad results so it was preeclampsia after all and they had to induced me that day. So sometimes they push you away or you feel like you're going for no reason but I've spoken to the midwives and every single one at the hospital said we'd rather you come in get checked and if it is nothing we will reassure you and do our best to make you feel better about whatever you come in for but if it's something that needs attention we will do our best to help so always come in. So now even when I'm probably being a pain in the backside over nothint I go in to see them lol! Hope this made you feel abit better! X

Hi There,

I hope you managed to get seen over the weekend? If not your midwife or GP would be able to get you seen at your local early pregnancy unit today if you give them a call. I hope it all goes ok.

Best Wishes

Katherine
