had my period twice last month and no period this month so far.

hi ladies I am hoping someone could assist me. I had my period twice last month for some reason. the last time this happened was over 3 years ago. imy question now is how do I work out when my period would be due again. do I work on the last period I had last month even tho it was a second period 2 weeks apart. and if I do work on that second period it means my est date to start again would of been 25th July. It has still not come yet and I am feeling bleh I want to throw up all the time my boobs hurt I am very tired. could this mean I might be pregnant. I had period like cramping 2 weeks ago and some last week. but not my normal period cramps. I am so confused. I don't want to think of my self as pregnant due to my period being all wacked last month. thanks a million.

Hi, I don't think a pregnancy test will show results until minimum 3 weeks, I could be wrong with that. But I would definitely do one.

Before I did my test, I was feeling sick all the time, tasting iron in my mouth when I brushed my teeth, bloated, fatigue and tender boobs. Did a test after 5 days of feeling this way and it came out positive. But I'm unsure of how long it was after my period that I did a test as I'm never regular.

I hope it all goes well with you. But they are definitely symptoms of pregnancy xx

thank you for the feed back. with my first pregnancy it was clear cut. I missed my period and took a test.my daughter is 8 now. I had no morning sickness or cravings and my boobs only became sore much later. so If it was not for the pos test I would of never known. it's funny you mention the taste, I also had a weird taste today as if I just ate thing certain thing what I never did. my breasts are even worse today then they did when I posted this 2 days ago. and my period is 8 days late. so I you think of it I didn't have a period at all during the month of July. 😕

Hi there

A pregnancy test is the only way to know if you are pregnant. It will be accurate 3 weeks after last sex or if a period is missed, late or shorter than usual. If the test is negative ‎wait a few and repeat. If you continue to feel unwell see your GP.

thank you very much. do you think the fact that I had 2 periods in June was just a random thing pos from stress. I am now 8 days late do you think I can test now or should I wait until 10 or 12 days.

This is ridiculous .. A test isn't the only way to detect pregnancy as you may not produce enough hgc for the test to detect .. I'm 8 weeks and my only way of comfirming my pregnancy was an ultrasound (healthy baby) still now a blood test and urine test is still showing negative

Glad I could help. Yes if you are 8 days you should take a test. If it is negative, retest a few days later if you still haven't had your period.
