I'm late and so worried

I'm late on my period and I can feel cramps, me and my boyfriend are worried, we have had scares like this before and taken a test (which was negative) but this time feels different. We do have unprotected sex but he always pulls out, urg, can someone give me advice?

If you are late for your period and worried about being pregnant you should take a pregnancy test. You can get tests for free from your GP or local contraceptive and sexual health clinic (you can find your nearest one here fpa.org.uk/find-a-clinic ). Although you can also buy them from pharmacies, supermarkets and even pound shops.

If you have taken a test and it has come back negative but your period is still late wait a few days and retest. If it is still negative but your period hasn't started I would pop down to your local contraceptive and sexual health clinic and talk to them about dates and they will run some tests if needs be.

If you don't want to get pregnant I would recommend starting a form of contraception which you can get from your local contraceptive and sexual health clinic.
