hi there my husband has been recently diagnosed with lymphocytic colitis in his large intestine he’s in chronic pain he’s had tests mri biopsies done and he hardly eats he’s losing weight he has no energy his tummy is hard most days he’s in constant pain can anyone suggest anything to help him he’s been drs they give him codeine and something for the spasms in his bowel but none of it helps could really do with some advice

I’m went back to an old solution that all the gastrointestinal doctors forgot about.I take 3 senna docusate pill each meal on a empty stomach and I have several small bowel movements during the day. I remembered this old solution by myself and not the current gastrointestinal doctors! So I have a glimmer of hope!! Thanks to everybody for your concern.

Yes, thanks! It’s only been two days on it but it’s working well. I’m hoping my intestines get more used to this medication and it’s not harmful drugs either!

I assume he is seeing a gastroenterologist. If not he should, privately if necessary.

yes but getting a appointment is absolutely ridiculous he’s been waiting 2 months to hear from them

Yes, it ridiculous to wait this long for help. That’s why I was so depressed and suffering so long without a solution!!!!

it must be absolutely awful for you that suffer breaks my heart to watch my husband be in so much pain and there’s not a thing I can do to help ease it

I fixed my BM problem finally by taking the old medication that worked before. Sorry to hear about your husband. May God help you.
