Hello,

Hope you are all well and having a safe 2022 so far. Just thought I would give a little update on my husband. They did his second CT scan 5 months after his Y-90 and the tumors have all substantially shrunk, so we are very grateful and happy for that! Yesterday was his first Immunotherapy treatment and Lenvima combo treatment, so we are moving forward with prayer and hope that this treatment further shrinks the tumors and he experiences few side effects. Wish you all a blessed day!

That’s wonderful news! I hope and pray the new treatments are just as effective with no side effects.

I'm so glad to hear the tumors have gotten smaller. Hopefully the immunotherapy and Lenvima will continue the progress. Praying that he doesn't have bad side effects with the Lenvima. ❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️Sharon

Good morning.Just thought I'd check in to see how y'all are doing? How is the immunotherapy treatment going? Is he tolerating the Lenvima? Jimmy had lots of problems with it. Let us know how y'all are doing.

Hello. Thank you for asking. He seems to be having a lot of joint pain, blood pressure went up, some stomach issues, but overall he is doing ok. The Dr has him only on 10mg along with the Keytruda. They will check in 3 months to see how well it is working. I'm sorry your husband had problems with it. Did they put him on something else?

He was on Lenvima for about 3 or 4 months off and on. Due to the severe side effects he suffered often had to switch to reduced dosage or even discontinue for a few days and start again. When they did his MRI at end of November found out that the cancer had grown/spread to fill most of that lobe. So oncologist discontinued the Lenvima and started him on Opdivo infusions. He just had his 5th one. It's only thing he's receiving at the moment. He has Cirrhosis so was limited from the first to treatment that his liver could tolerate. Glad to hear it is going pretty good for your husband. I think stomach issues seem to be unavoidable. Jimmy's blood pressure actually dropped so had to discontinue his beta blocker. Good luck and keep us posted.Sharon ❤️
