Hi all, just finished my third round of immunotherapy. I tolerated it pretty well. Some side effects are lower GI track discomfort and cramps. Fatigue and joint aches in hands, back, legs and feet. Hoarse voice. And some itching here and there. My blood pressure was high when the took it last Wednesday so keeping an eye on that. But otherwise nothing serious so far! Still 🙏🙏🙏…

My 4th treatment will be August 24th … MRI on September 7 and the big reveal on results September 14th…

Way to go. Glad you got started. Don't expect immediate results. I was 20 treatment in before saw some shrinkage of the cancer. Best wishes.

Hi I was wondering during the time you started immunotherapy .. did your tumors grow or remain the same and how are they doing now?

Started seeing change in tumor after 5 treatments of Opdivo. Initial tumor was 11cm by 11 cm. After 20 treatments tumor was 7cm by 7cm. I continued to have a total of 53 treatments over 2 years and the tumor remained the same size. Stopped treatment 2 years ago and MRI 2 months ago was still stable. Considering, I was terminal 5 years ago and now am a 5 year survivor. I am very fortunate. But, live from scan to scan and feel blessed everyday. Wishing you the best and prayers for you.

Thank you ! It gives me hope to hear about your experience! The fact that you are stable for so long is so good to hear. My expectations are for my tumors to not grow or have new ones show up. Anything that doesn’t get worse is a win!

It is wonderful that you are doing so well. I hope it continues for you.

All the best!

So glad to hear you've been tolerating it well, that is so important! I'll keep you in my prayers for encouraging results after the next test. (Sure wish you could get the results sooner, though - waiting is never fun.)

Here's to stability! 🙂

Glad to hear you're able to tolerate the treatments so they can continue. My husband was only able to do them for 3 months (6 infusions) before he had to stop because it was causing so much damage to his liver. Hopefully you'll continue to tolerate them and see lots of shrinkage and no new tumors. Keep us posted! Good luck!
