Candesartan diarrhea side effect ?

Hi, I'm new here. I have some thyroid problems and recently I was also diagnosed with hypertension. My doctor prescribed 8 mg of Candesartan/Atacand and if necessary I will raise the dose to 16mg. Coincidence or not, on the second dose I started having diarrhea that lasted all day. All kinds of noises come from the intestine and stomach as if I am a cauldron...

-it can be a side effect or I have a food poisoning, have you experienced this before?

If it is a side effect will it subside in time?

I would say this one is for a pharmacist to think about medication interactions, assuming you are on a thyroid medication, for starters. But you can pick up a dicky tummy from so many things - like door handles then touching your lips, for instance. Lots of water to drink and leave it for a few days if a pharmacist can’t help. It I’m. It a doc!
