Why so high

Hi everyone new to this blood pressure thing. Mines usually 200/100 give or take 10. Doc got me on 4 meds and it still won't come down. Spent time in hospital and still not under control. Also changed Doctors because it's not coming down. What's your thoughts??

How long have you been on the meds? They take a few weeks to get it normalised, mine was also very high, hypertensive crisis, took three to four weeks to get to normal levels on three meds, a CCB, ACE inhibitor and an Alpha Blocker. Persevere for a bit and if not please go to hospital, those levels can cause problems. Take multiple readings and get your machine calibrated if those are your readings. Machines can be off.

Been on meds since November. Got to see new nurse on Friday. The highest reading I had was 277/109 lucky was I hospital. I think I'll buy a new machine.

Have a look at Blood Pressure UK website.Also, exercise and diet are big big factors in keeping your BP under control.

Just had Bp taken at pharmacy. 230/123. I was ordered to go straight to Dr's. Sorry Rosie can't exercise due to falling off ladder on 27 Oct which started all this. Spent 5 weeks in hospital, and still Bp high.
