I m concerned about my bp. It’s does not seem to go down I m rampril I have thyroid fibromyalgia lupus sjogens arthritis I do exercise I cutting down on salt any advice please

I m 61 years young. Just had a knee surgery in November

Hi, How long have you had high blood pressure for? I was on rampiril but it did not work for me and gave me a cough. I switched to amlopodine 10mg and losartan 50mg and that brought it down. I also have just been diagnosed with fibro but it hasnt affected my blood pressure. I think you need to go back to your dr and change your meds if you can but you sound like you have a lot going on. Oh thank u 🙏🏽 for replying I been on ramipril for a while I don’t it works I did take amplodine it I had nausea with it I do have fibromyalgia lupus and arthritis I exercise trying to eat well

Hi Mystik

I have high blood pressure as well as an underactive thyroid. Best advice I can give is to contact your doctors as they might need to adjust the Ramipril or change medication.

Thank u will be talking to the drs regarding my meds I too have thyroid fibromyalgia lupus high blood sjogens we have to keep on going
