I’m taking pregabalin for pain relief as I suffer with idiopathic peripheral neuropathy but have developed urine incontinence particularly when I wake up each morning I go to the bathroom and I seem to have no control it just comes as soon as I start to go to the bathroom does anyone know if this could be a side effect of the pregabalin or progression of the peripheral neuropathy I am wearing a pad at night now not because I’m wetting the bed but it’s as soon as I start to walk to the bathroom daytime isn’t a problem unless I try to hold on to long thanks for any advice

I have found urine incontinence a problem with pregab. I have switched to DULOXETINE and it's fine. I am only on a low dose and hope to have it added to repeat script and gradually increase. Some info re duloxetine suggests it helps with urinary probs. Perhaps you will be lucky and you will settle after taking pregab for longer however. How long have you been taking and what dose?

Have you tried Pelvic floor exercises also to strengthen them?

Maybe use the pad before getting out of bed?
