Hello :-)

Glad it has been a nice day weather wise but when you have to work in it then it does take it out of you and no doubt you felt this way because it was a warm day as when you got home and started to relax you felt a lot better

Did you make sure you drank a little more as when it is warm you need to keep dehydrated when you are working in it

Did you say you were a painter ?

The paint fumes and chemicals when it is warm could also have a slight effect to

Try and have a relaxing evening and you are doing really well :-) x

Hello :-)

I get light headed feelings to and had some today and it was warmer here than it has been but I let them come and go they do not last long and I do not get them as often as I used to

Hopefully yours will get less as you adjust to the medication

You know I bet if they said you can stop that med take no more or less straight away you would feel better as this has happened to me before because we know then we are not taking something so all the side effects go within hours if they say stop as the mind is a powerful thing the way it works :-)

You will be alright :-) x

What time of day do you take your bisoprolol?I take mine when I go to bed at night, that way any side effects happen while I'm asleep

In the morning

Maybe check with your gp or cardiologist if it's OK to take it at night.I take all my meds just before I go to bed at night, I take warfarin, losartan and bisoprolol

My husband takes 1.25 twice a day, morning and night. Why would that be?

Good morning mobyfool. I think you should be seeing a doctor and getting a check up as to why you are feeling like you are. Especially if your working up ladders as well. Take care and I hope you get checked out. Brian

Don,t notice it on ladders, more if I,m kneeling down and push up from the position.

I walked 2.5 miles yesterday and it was warm but not boiling hot, but when we got to the museum and stopped within minutes i started to feel dizzy and a bit weird and had to sit down for a bit. I was alright after 5 minutes.

I wonder if its because the bisoprolol makes your heart drop quicker to its resting rate than it used to and that maybe causes a drop in blood pressure which makes you feel light headed after a period of exertion. Im thinking of getting my dose dropped to the lowest one.

Hi mobyfool

There's a lot of guesswork going on with your post! I agree with Bingo88, If you're feeling dizzy, palpitations, light headed, etc then you need to contact your Dr for advice. You are already on the lowest dose of bisoprolol, so it may be a case of changing your medication.

Good luck

I am on BP meds since a heart attack and my BP is always quite low. In any hot weather I feel sick, headache, dizzy, light headed and nausea sometimes. Heat decreases BP further. I try to drink more water but there's only so much you can drink. There really isn't any solution for me except not to go out in hot weather. So I stay in air-conditioning, otherwise I will feel sick.
