Today when he saw me, hubby smacked his lips for a kiss and winked at me.The physio was there getting him to lift his arms and legs and wiggling his fingers and toes. She called him a flirt, but was thrilled with him..
He was mouthing I love you to me.
They wheeled a tv in, picture was awful, they all had purple faces, but he watched Bargain hunt and Impossible. I asked did he want me to turn it off and he shook his head no.
He's not lost his sense of humour had the physio giggling. She asked him, can I ask Sue questions about you, she'll tell me won't she? He shook his head no, pulled a face and then grinned! I mean just rude eh?😜😂
So pleased he's come back to me, we can work on the physio.
Although he's hooked up to the ventilator, but he's breathing completely on his own, the machine is just there in case he misses any.
This was lovely to read and you never told us what a flirt he is
If he is back to doing that I think he is well on his way to recovery I like how he has picked flirting as his first move as well as his sense of humour he sounds like he is back
I think we feel as well as knowing you that we know your Husband to and I hope in the future when you are at home together he will come on and say hello to us would be lovely to meet him even if virtually

Oh I am so pleased to hear he is back with you. And I hope he continues to improve and hopefully be home soon so you can both enjoy life again and relax without all the travelling for you. Brian
This is just wonderful. I’m sure he will improve everyday now and be home before you know it. It’s amazing what can be done and even when it looks like things are not going well, we have to believe in our health services and those amazing health professionals. 💛
I have been following you since your husband had his operation, first time replying. We went through a similar situation in 2002 so I understand everything that you have written. Prayers said every day for you both. 💖💖💖🙏💖💖💖
Thats lovely and amazing news. Sounds like he'd had a good rest and is getting back to his old self! Brilliant to see and hear I'm sure. Tell him he owes you a big bunch of flowers and many treats after being a ery awkward customer! Thank God for our wonderful NHS and its amazing staff. You relax a bit now, and get some rest ready for when he comes home. Lots of love to you both x
Wow, that's amazing. He'll just carry on improving hour by hour and you're the reason for this!!
Give him a big hug (watch out for the breathing tube when you do!) and tell him we're all thinking of him (and you and your lovely family). Lots of love and hugs. Jan xxxxx
