has anyone had a tattoo whilst being on clopidogrel 75mg? Do I need to stop them for a couple of days before having a full sleeve done?

The simple answer is yes, stop blood thinning tablets for a few days prior to a tattoo. The better plan would be to finish your course of blood thinners until your medics change your prescription. Then have the tattoo.

Best wishes

remembering that you bleed heavily while on Clop. Need at least four days off this medicine beforehand. Is it really worth risking your life for a tattoo?

Seasons greetings! Clopidogrel is a drug that stops platelets sticking together,it's not a 'blood thinner'.

Interesting point, Chowles. I ad thought that it was, but thanks to your post I now accept that it isn't. (Some websites do suggest that it, such as gloshospitals.nhs.uk/your-v... "You are taking any blood thinning medication (such as warfarin, clopidogrel, aspirin, rivaroxaban or apixaban). "

Googling "Clopidogrol tattoo" will lead to a number of discussions, including here on this forum four years ago: healthunlocked.com/bhf/post...
