Small sharp pains when heart beating

I went for a 52 mile bike ride just over a week ago on a e bike just after the 45 mile mark in started getting small sharp pains when heart beats on my left side chest half way down stopped after about a minute also later when I was laying down in bed, On the Monday went to work started to sweat head and going confused also feeling tired this happened on and off Tuesday and Wednesday on Thursday it got worse at dinner time at work going really sweating my head and confused could not understand what people where saying and they said I went really white no colour, I went home and phoned the doctor for some advice they think the small sharp pains might be heart related and the head sweating and confusion is because I have been overdoing things, They asked if I wanted to Mark an appointment to see doctor I said not because I had a echocardiogram a week and a half ago and would wait for results from that before an appointment, I had a small stabbing pain when I was asleep Saturday night but have been more tired than normal, Worn out today from work tired, Anyone had anything similar

I experience the stabbing pain and the sweats. However, these are not new symptoms for me. As they are new symptoms for you, I really think it would be wise to call 111 or at least try to speak to a medical professional before your results come through just in case there is something going on that needs attention.

Thanks for your reply, I will see how I get on in next couple of days, Not had and stabbing pains since Saturday night, But getting more tired than I was, Hopefully will get my results of echocardiogram this week

I get the sharp pains sometimes, but I believe it's associated with the myopericarditis... I also get sweats but thats a different issue (for now).

I'd agree with Tos, if this is new for you it's best getting checked out as soon as you can, especially as it's not going away.

I wouldn’t take any chances any more trying to second guess symptoms. ECG showed no untoward heart activity for me , it was blood tests that revealed I’d had a heart attack. I fannied about . , nearly didn’t go in for the blood tests as the chest pain had gone . Thank the Lord I did. Let the professionals sort it out . 👍👍 Chapeau buddy 🚴‍♀️

Hi yes I had a heart attack a month ago and getting small shooting pains all over my body.

The only advice I would give is please do not wait any longer cal 111 or call your doctor back and take that appointment

Don’t wait for your results if you go to A&E hopefully they will look at your echocardiogram and take it from there

I have booked an appointment with the doctor it took me since this Tuesday to be feeling myself again , Only had the 2 episodes of the new chest pains and the last episode of me going sweaty in the head and been confused and white no colour on Saturday, Not had any info on the ECHO I had at start of August,
