Pains

Sat here and I have this heaviness in my heart with sharp stabbing pains, trying to be calm, but unfortunately I'm cold sweating. Does anyone else experience this? I have low blood pressure it's 90/60 at the moment TIA x

I hope you’re ok … I’d dial 111 to discuss with them. If you feel worse, and no-one with you, call 999 … it’s best to get checked.

I experience this however, if it is a new symptom and hasn’t been investigated, it needs to be addressed by a doctor. I hope you managed to get yourself to the hospital or at least called 111. If you haven’t, and are still feeling no better this morning, I would definitely pick up the phone and speak to them.

Morning. Its not a new thing but becoming more frequent and more intense. Cold sweats happening more often too, even just making a brew! Rang GP surgery no drs today! Rang cardiology team (who I'm still waiting for appointment for LVH and something to do with valves, after phone call 2 mths ago) wait for your appointment! So I'm trying not to stress as this is the cause of my LVH.Thanks for your reply. Do you have low blood pressure?x

Good morning. I am sorry to hear you’ve been struggling with this for a while. I don’t have the low blood pressure, and if I do, it’s only occasionally as my heart meds can cause this. All the other symptoms I have quite regularly which I believe is linked to my congenital heart defect. It would be safe to give 111 a call as I can see you’ve still got symptoms this morning x

So sorry you are going through this. No my dyastolic is never high and if it goes into the 50s I feel rotten. The systolic sometimes shoots up particularly if I am stressed and then I have to take a bp pill daily until it stabilises and then come off it by taking every other day and then stop

Hi all. What a waste of time it was, I saw a young male Dr. Told me I had a chest infection (which already on antibiotics for ongoing problem) said that's probably what I was feeling and cold sweats has nothing to do with the heart??? Since I've had a bug so apologies for not replying. My heart is still the same and so are the sweats. So confused.xx

Cold sweats aren't to do with the heart? Did they even check your heart? Aw hun so sorry you was treated like that what a nightmare 💔x hope your chest infection clears up soon 😘

I know they do especially in women. Did an ecg abnormal. Wait for my appointment with cardio. So down today x
