Around 2 months ago I was with some friends and got sharp heart pains with shooting pains down my left side, with heart palpitations, I became very hot and felt very unwell to the point where I was crying in pain , as this continued to the morning I went to A&E and had some scans, they were unsure and said to come back if it happened again. This continued to happen to different degrees or seriousness most days and I went back to hospital multiple times. I have just had an echo and had a heart monitor fitted however Im worried they will struggle to find out what this is. I’ve started to get weird pains in my neck when it happens and get pains in parts of my face. I get pulsating in my head and feel an unconscious bad feeling across my body. I have tried to drink alcohol a few times since and this has bought on a bad episode most times. I now get rushes of bad feeling and weird pains across my body even without the heart pains and am very confused. I’m only 20 years old and have no other health problems, does anyone have any similar stories or have any ideas as to what this might be?

Heart pains
I like a few glasses of vino but it is a stimulant and can makes things worse. The bad feeling could be where you are worrying so much it is giving you stress related problems. I am sure with all the technology today they will find what is causing the pain. I wish you well
Stop the alcohol and any other recreational drugs if you are taking them. Any problems with your heart should be picked up the echo. If not, then it's possibly anxiety.
I have no idea what this could be. It's really for the medics to sort out, but you perhaps can help yourself a bit by ensuring that you cut out junk food and anything with additives in it. Stop drinking anything fizzy etc, just stick to water. Just eat good old-fashioned, prepared from scratch food. Tough now-a-days, but it would be good to try to control and know that there is just whole food going into you. Also, sleep is important; you do need your 8 hours (See Why We Sleep, a book). Also keep a diary of what is happening and what you are doing and look for correlations; it might just help
Good luck, I hope you get through all this quickly

Definitely stop the alcohol and any recreational drugs. Eat a healthy diet, take regular exercise and try to get quality sleep. Anxiety does weird things to your body and this is a particularly anxious time for everyone. I had a heart attack 20 months ago and for months afterwards anxiety caused very weird pains and feelings. Even now when I get stressed I can feel my chest tighten. I had cognitive behaviour therapy for 6 weeks on the N.H.S. for my anxiety. Most areas have something similar so give it a try. You're being taken very seriously so if there's something to find it will be found. If you can, take a friend or relative to appointments and write down any questions you have. Good luck and believe that you will feel well again.
All the other replies here is good advice but one other to consider is your weight. The obvious is, are you overweight. If you are overweight consider losing weight by cutting out all junk food etc. Make sure you have three healthy meals a day and watch your portion size. The not so obvious, are you underweight? This is just as dangerous as our bodies need a certain amount of fat to survive and if we don't have enough fat in our bodies, they go into defensive survival mode and start consuming our muscles. Your heart is a muscle. Here is a link to a BMI checker nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-we.... See what your is and aim to get your BMI smack bang in the middle of your BMI range. Talk to you GP about your weight if needed. Good luck and I'm sure the doctors will find out what is going go.
Did they do a blood test to check for Heart Attack?
