who does anyone go to for their holiday insurance? Been quoted £440.00 for a year policy. Is the expensive and what do people normally pay?

The prices would vary incredibly depending on what your health conditions are.

If you type in “travel insurance” at the search bar on the top of the forum, you’ll see a tonne of different posts dedicated to just travel insurance.

Payingtoomuch.com searches many providers for you that cover pre existing medical conditions. You can also call them to get a quote and the call handlers are very friendly and helpful.

Sorry for late reply, I’m on holiday (UK).

I have Afib and cardiac Microvascular Disorder. Earlier this year I paid nearly £400 insurance for a 16 night cruise. I don’t know what your risks are but £400 for annual insurance sounds quite reasonable.

Try Moneyhelper.org.uk, you can call them on 0800 1387777 and they'll refer you to a company that can help you. I managed to get a policy for £63 recently.

hi i paid £440 for a year travel insurance with Stay sure that was joint with my hubby he has no underlying conditions I have 2 stents due to blocked artery no heat attack and Microvascular angina that was cruise cover as well 😀
