look,at the post “holiday insurance” posted one day ago below.

Find a website that covers travel insurance with pre existing medical conditions, fill in the details fully and honestly, and take it from there. If you have an undiagnosed condition awaiting investigation you might find some insurers will decline to cover or the premium is very high. Or talk to a local insurance broker.

Sorry - no travel insurance recommendations- just a cautionary warning. We know of someone who sadly required an emergency C.A.B.G whilst abroad. Unfortunately, they omitted to mention on the proposal form when taking out the policy, that statins had been prescribed in the past (but were never taken - so didn’t think it was relevant). The Insurer subsequently refused to deal with the claim - which has left a bill in excess of £30k.

So, declare everything - however small!

I use justtravelcover.com

you fill in your details online and will then get a variety of quotes as you wait. If you wait a day you will often be offered a 10% discount.

I had a 4CABG over 2 years ago. Generally the insurers don't like cruises or travel to the US and the premiums will be loaded for those situations.

As Lowerfield writes, insurers don't like conditions awaiting investigation.

I had HA in october october 2024. 2 stents a a loop fitted. I had a yearly travel insurance with paying too much. They refused me to travel. On recommendation I have used All Clear. I filled the form in on line honestly then rang to check all the details. I've got a years travel insurance to include a cruise fo £900 it sounds a lot but peice of mind is important Marie

Thank you all so much for your responses and recommendations. I’ll be totally honest with any conditions and medications - its simply not worth the risk to save a few quid. Kind regards
