update,I talked with my cardiologist that found the issue, again she was straight forward. I asked her the question that I wanted, she gave some weak answers that leaves another questions to ask. ‘Yes ,this is for life, good that you drop your blood pressure without medication, you need to be checked every 3 months and then if things get better, every 6 months and so and so,if this get worse the your GP from Scotland needs to know what to do, book an appointment with a cardiologist there in Scotland, and continue from there’ and ‘ You don’t live in Romania,so I can check you every month,I’ve just diagnosed you and from here the GP from Scotland needs to take care of you so you can continue in getting better’ -this was what she said .
Know ,the paper are translated and gave them to GP, but no call back or something else to see what steps should I take.
Now another problem appeared, my blood pressure stabilised to 125/80,every day I have it like this. But my shortness of breath is starting to be worst, I feel tired all the time and to my surprise my BPM drop for the past 2-3 days, during the day ,especially in the morning between 6-10, drops to 48/49 and at night while sleeping drops to 37 to 39(last night was a exemple) even though I woke up really good .
I’ve read that Intermittent Fasting can lower your heart rate, but I don’t know if is a good thing or not? Most people said is good, but is good when you have a heart condition?
I need to mention, that I’ve started taking for the past 2 days, magnesium chloride/Potassium/ B12 and Vit D , and you can see already that my tiredness has gone, like I said I woke up this morning really fresh .
Any suggestions from people or people that know other people. that are intermittent fasting with a heart condition.
I started eating normally from todsy ,just to see what is happening, but any suggestions are welcome.
I was making so much progression with my blood pressure and happy and this morning,I felt the sky dropping on my head.
Tomorow I’m going to do another echocardiogram,in Newcastle and I didn’t tell anyone from my family, because everyone says is in my head and is anxiety.
Any suggestions,thank you.

Intermittent fasting... some swear by it, others don't. I personally do a form of it purely because it fits in with my lifestyle. IF alone will not reduce your heart rate, but if using it as a weight management tool then it could potentially contribute to weight loss which has lots of positive effects if you are overweight.
If you feel the benefits of supplements after 2 days, then you either were not deficient in them before, or you are experiencing the placebo effect... these things don't tend to work quite so quickly. As I've said in other posts, if your diet is reasonably healthy and varied already, there shouldn't be a need to take supplements unless a doctor has advised you otherwise.
That's great you have an echo tomorrow, see what the results of this test are, and if it is a cardiologist performing the test, go with a list of questions regarding your symptoms and possible treatment options.
Hi Captain _Birdseye, well i’ve taking vitamins for the past 3 months, stopped for 2 weeks and started again. Well , I do IF to help with blood pressure, which it did ,but know the shortness of breath is worse and the BPM started to go under the my normal range. I’m concerned about this and I hope I didn’t start having complications to my condition,is been 1 week since they diagnosed me and the symptoms started.. She is not a cardiologist, she a specialist in echocardiogram and EKG she does a lot for athletes ,football players etc.
Hopefully she can put a better light on this.
hello
It’s good you got a straight forward answer from your Romanian doctor, there is some good in her suggestion to now focus on working with your Scottish doctors. Sometimes it is easier to purse with one doctor until such time they are unable to help / need a second opinion. Having lots of different medical opinions can be confusing. Also it gets you firmly in the “system” if you work with your local Scottish doctors.
Advice on diet when you have a heart condition MUST come from a doctor (or their recommended professionals) that knows you and your condition (even more reason to develop a good relationship with locally based doctors). Otherwise I would say eating at regularly intervals will help avoid spikes in sugar / salt etc and therefore your BPM / blood pressure - I’m only saying on the basis of logic and not as medical advice.
Keep a note though of your findings for when you meet Scottish dotctors.
GPs aren’t always fast / are very busy so just chase up in a few days to see if they will be contacting you soon.
Good luck with your echo. Again it may help you to work with one set of doctors to get you into the Scottish health system so they can review and address. You’ve made a start with translated letter to GP.
None of this moves as fast as we’d like unfortunately, but you are making progress.
Take care. I can “read” the anxiety in your post so I hope you will get some progress but you have made some progress since you last posted. That’s a positive.
Hi fishface, yes is good ,but still don’t understand what is going on,I feel worst then before and everything with my blood pressure is OK. I’m anxious and not a very patience person. I’ve started seeing results, progress and now I feel that I’m back again to sqaure zero, like I didn’t do anything.
I have high blood pressure but is controlled by meds but I still have angina. Guarantee everyone with any illness has a few steps forward and more back at some point and the hardest is having patience so working on anxiety in the meantime may help. 👍
Sorry to hear your family aren't more supportive 😔. I think one reason I can get through my heart condition is because of my family and how supportive they are so I really feel for you ❤️. Dosent sound like it's in your head. Hope your echo goes well.
