I’ve noticed, through tracking on my Apple Watch that my heart rate regularly drops to around 42-45 and my average resting rate every month is always low 50s. Is this as concern? My BP is always low but docs seem happy with BP although I’ve never mentioned the low HR as I’ve only just noticed. I’m healthy in myself, eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly although I’m no athlete lol. Moderate exercise @4 times a week. I don’t want to go rushing off to my GP unnecessarily (although hubby desperately wants me to go and get it checked). Can this low HR be perfectly normal for some people?

Low heart rate
Hello and welcome to the forum! Heart rate depends on numerous factors including fitness levels, medical conditions and medication. If you feel concerned have a chat with your GP.
Everyone is different- due to meds my heart rate dropped to in the 40’s but this left me feeling extremely tired so they decreased the med- it’s now around 50 and 3 mths post bypass I have run for 1st time today. I would always say however it’s good to get it checked out. My Fitbit alerted me to my high rate before my bypass so if I hadn’t been curious I may not be here to tell the tale!!!
Good job you were curious and glad you’ve got it sorted. I do have a few dizzy spells and some lightheadedness sometimes but probably only about 2-3 times a week and to be honest I’ve put that down to Peri menopause (blame that for everything 🤦♀️) will mention it to dr next time I’m there I think.
*Update*
Well i called my GP to check & stop other half nagging and he’s referred me to a cardiologist and also booked me in for an ECG as he said he can hear a murmur and it should be investigated. So we’ll see where we go from here.
