Afternoon all from the sofa. So I've overdone it, a good session at the gym, I'm good I think let's go for a walk, just under two hours in, so much pain in my shin I have to stop and call my daughter to be picked up. Good job I made it out if the field I was crossing as it had just been freshly ploughed.

Have no idea what I've done to it, feels like shin splints. Compresion socks and an ice pack on it and trying to ease the pain but guessing I'm out of action exercise wise for a few days

Not good ☹️ and there's you telling us to take things slowly 😜. Put your leg up, have a rest and then take it a bit more gradually!

I'm sure you'll be able to get your own back in a few weeks after I've had my op 😸.

Hi Skid,

Have you been bitten? Walking through freshly cut field hides all kinds of mysterious insects. Just look for puncture wounds as strange as it sounds some bores can cause that amount of pain.

Ouch.... shin splints are VERY painful... definitely keep off your legs as much as possible for a couple of days. That was some workout😀 I couldn't do that before my heart issues!

Hope you are feeling better very soon

The gym man says its likely to be shin splints due to previous inactivity and the muscle not being used. More stretches to ease it out and more stretches pre and post work out.
