Hello :-)

I am glad they have found out why you have been feeling so ill and I hope you get that scan quick so they can suggest if any what treatment you need

It must be difficult dealing with your own health as well as family having health issues to but hopefully you and your family members that are not well will get the best treatment and things will look up soon :-)

Let us know how you get on :-) x

At least now you know the reason. Hopefully they'll be quick with your scan and results and plan for your treatment x

It's always the way isn't it how these horrible things come in the same blow!

Is that an ultrasound scan you are having on the 28 March or a ct scan?

With the ultrasound scan they say not to eat anything for like 8 hours before the scan.

Sorry to read this update Yumz. I hope they are finally able to get down to the root cause of it now. Try not to panic too much about the elevated liver enzymes. Sometimes an elevation in this can be temporary. It can also be related to medications you take. However, the scan will provide a clearer picture on what is going on.

Let us know how the scan goes.

Tos x

I know you’ve been poorly a couple of times and I wonder if that's what has caused the spike, or vice versa and the elevated liver enzymes have made you poorly.

Either way, the scan should reveal more x

Yeah that's what my doctor said, but I think it's the elavated enzymes making me feel so rubbish my belly gets bloated and feel nauseas all the time and especially when I'm out walking around my belly gets sooo bloated and feels so hard and hurts x.

I remember your posts about the bloating. I hope you are taking it easy at the gym, or at least taking a break for now if movement or activity makes it worse x

So sad to hear you are struggling at the moment. My thoughts are with you.

Try and get as much rest as you can and do some relaxing things to distract you from the worry.

If you are up to it let us know how you get on.

The good thing about the tests is that they should find out what is troubling you and will be able to treat it so that you can start to feel yourself again.

There can be so many different reasons for raised liver enzymes and a tender abdomen, many of which can be very simple to treat , so fingers crossed that it is one of those simple changes.

Take care , Bee
